Ashtabula County ,OH : 20-year-old Alexandria Struhar killed and another injured after Two Vehicle deadly Crash along SR 84 on Thursday Morning ,June 4th 2015

Troopers are investigating a deadly crash involving two vehicles early Thursday morning.

Troopers say alcohol played a role in the crash. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, it happened at about 1 a.m. on State Route 84 at Van Pelt Road.

20-year-old Alexandria Struhar, of Ashtabula, was heading westbound on State Route 84 when a vehicle crossing the intersection passed a stop sign and struck the driver's door of Struhar's vehicle.

The driver in the other vehicle, Adam Wright, 18, of Geneva, drove off the road and overturned. Struhar's vehicle went off the road and struck a telephone pole.

Struhar was sent by air ambulance to Cleveland MetroHealth Medical Center, where she was later pronounced dead. Troopers say she had been wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.

Wright was initially sent to University Hospitals Geneva Medical Center, and then moved to Cleveland MetroHealth Medical Center. He was not wearing his seat belt.

The crash remains under investigation.
