Monett, MO : Two Exeter women were injured in a wreck on Wednesday, October, 18th 2017
Two Exeter women were injured Wednesday in a wreck at 5:50 p.m. on Highway 76, half a mile east of Exeter.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Janet Poyner, 73, of Exeter, was eastbound in a 2016 Kia Rio and her vehicle was stooped in the roadway when it was struck in the rear by a 2011 Ford Taurus, being driven by Patience Lewis, 23, of Exeter.
Poyner and Lewis each suffered minor injuries. Poyner was transported to Mercy Hospital in Cassville, and Lewis was transported to Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark.
Both were wearing safety devices. The Kia sustained moderate damage, and the Ford sustained extensive damage.
