Riverton, WY : 34-year-old pedestrian is killed on highway north of Riverton on monday, September 1, 2014

An investigation is underway after a 34-year-old man was hit and killed by a car as he was walking on a highway north of Riverton. The Riverton Ranger reports Ivan R. Pine was walking in the southbound lane of Wyoming Highway 789 when he was hit from behind at about 12:15 a.m. Monday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
