Cedar Lawn, MD : Another two-vehicle crash reported at Garland Groh Boulevard intersection on Tuesday, 22nd January 2019
Another two-vehicle crash occurred at Garland Groh Boulevard and U.S. 40 Tuesday night, a little more than 12 hours after a fatal two-vehicle crash at the intersection, officials said.
The crash Tuesday evening, which was reported at 6:56 p.m., involved a pickup truck and another passenger vehicle, a Maryland State Police spokesman said.
Although three people were transported to the hospital, none of the injuries appeared to be serious, officials said.
The fatal crash happened at about 5:40 a.m., when Ingrid Rocio Velasco Collazos, 40, of Hagerstown, turned into the path of a Ford E-350 shuttle bus at the intersection, police said.
The bus was westbound on U.S. 40 and Collazos was driving south on Garland Groh Boulevard.
Collazos was pronounced dead at Meritus Medical Center.
