JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL : 1 dead after crash in Jefferson Co. on Tuesday, 28th November 2023

A man is dead after a crash in Northeast Jefferson County Tuesday night.

The single-vehicle crash happened on Groundhog Road, just past Sealy Ann Mountain Road around 11: 45 p.m.

When deputies arrived at the scene they found a 2018 Chevy Silverado that had left the road and struck multiple trees before coming to a rest. The man who was driving died at the scene.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team was called to the scene to conduct the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
