Hillsborough County, FL : Apollo Beach woman killed in wreck on Old U.S. 41 early Friday, April 15, 2016

A 25-year-old Apollo Beach woman was killed early Friday when the car she was driving struck a parked car on Old U.S. 41 while she was passing another vehicle, the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office said.

Ana Christina Arias was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said. At 3:41 a.m. Friday, Arias, driving a 1995 Lexus, was traveling south on Old U.S. 41 and following another vehicle, deputies said. Arias attempted to pass the other vehicle on the right, off the paved road, and struck a parked card on the west side of Old U.S. 41. The Lexus rolled and Arias was ejected from the car, deputies said.
