Brookfield, WI : One person dead in a rollover crash on Tuesday evening July 29th 2014

A person had to be extricated from a vehicle following a rollover crash Tuesday evening in Brookfield.

The Brookfield Fire Department said the crash happened at Capitol Drive and Stonewood Court just before 6 p.m.

The Fire Department said the driver was headed eastbound on Capitol Drive, crossed the median and rolled over into a ditch on the north side of the road

The person was taken to Froedtert Hospital.

Two lanes of Capitol Drive were shut down but have been reopened.
