LEE COUNTY, IA : Florida man killed in Lee County Iowa crash on Saturday, 2nd November 2024

A Florida man is dead following a weekend crash in Lee County, Iowa, according to an Iowa State Patrol crash report.

The crash happened around 12:08 a.m. on Nov. 2 at the intersection of Highway 218 and Highway 16.

According to ISP's report, a BMW was heading west on Highway 16 when the driver allegedly failed to stop at the intersection with Highway 218. A tractor and trailer heading south on Highway 218 then hit the BMW as it entered the southbound lanes of 218.
