Hannibal, MO : Teenager injured in rollover wreck on U.S. 61 on Tuesday, January 28th 2017

A Hamilton, Ill., man is recovering after sustaining moderate injuries in a one car wreck Saturday. Chase Dooley, 18, was driving a 2002 Pontiac southbound on U.S. 61 when the vehicle went off the left side of the roadway and overturned several time into the median.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the car came to rest on its wheels.

The incident took place around 7:30 a.m. about one mile south of LaGrange.

Dooley was taken by Lewis County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., for treatment.

According to the highway patrol, he was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The car was totaled.
