Monett, MO : Monett teen injured in wreck on Saturday, January, 20th 2018

A Monett teenager was injured Saturday in a wreck at 2:35 p.m. on Highway 37, two miles west of Monett.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Cody Munhollon, 18, of Monett, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet Impala eastbound when his vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway, overturned and struck a fence.

Munhollon suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Joplin.

He was not wearing a safety device, and the vehicle was totaled.
