Orange City , FL : 48 - Years old Lisa Lockhart Struck and killed by car while crossing along North Volusia Avenue on Sunday Night ,April 5th 2015

A woman was struck and killed by a car Sunday after leaving a bar in Volusia County, according to the Orange City Police Department.

Police said Lisa Lockhart, 48, was crossing North Volusia Avenue when she was hit by a vehicle traveling in a southbound lane just after 9 p.m. Sunday.

The driver stopped and rescue crews rushed to the scene, but the victim was later pronounced dead, investigators said.
