Birmingham, AL : Police officers were injured in a crash on Interstate 20/59 Wednesday August 6th 2014

Several Birmingham Police officers were injured in a crash on Interstate 20/59 Wednesday. According to the Birmingham Police Department, three officers were one vehicle, when a collision happened with a tractor-trailer truck and a van. The wreck happened mid-afternoon on I-20/59 northbound, near 31st Street. All three officers were transported to UAB Hospital. Two officers suffered minor injuries, mostly scratches and bruises.
