Blount County man killed in wreck near Pinson Monday

A man from Blount County was killed in a two-vehicle wreck near Pinson Monday.

The Alabama State Troopers report the accident happened about 9:50am CT on Highway 79, five miles north of Pinson in Jefferson County.

One person died on the scene of the wreck.

That person is identified as Marlin Sisson, 63, of Cleveland.

Two people in the other vehicle were injured, and transported to UAB Hospital.
