Cumberland County, PA : One dead after I-81 crash in Dickinson Township on Sunday, April 3, 2016

One person died in a car crash Sunday morning on Interstate 81 south in Dickinson Township.

Police said the driver was traveling southbound on Interstate 81 near Carlisle in the left lane around 4:34 a.m. when it crossed into the right lane and lost control.

The Chrysler PT Cruiser rolled before coming to a rest in the center median.

Police said the driver was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash closed the southbound lanes of I-81 for about 90 minutes.

The driver’s name will be released when next of kin are notified.
