A man is dead after being hit by a car while walking in the road near downtown Salt Lake City.KSL-TV reports (http://bit.ly/1GcILOq ) that police the 23-year-old man
was struck around 3:30 a.m. Saturday.Salt Lake City Police Department Lt. Michael Ross says officers found the man lying in the southbound lane of Victory Road. He
died at the scene.Ross says the man had been wearing dark clothing, making him difficult for the driver to see.Officers are not sure where the man was walking to or
from. His name has not yet been released.Ross says there is no sign that the driver was impaired.
