LAKE JACKSON, TX : Helmet protects motorcyclist in wreck on Thursday, 28th June 2018

A motorcycle rider’s decision to wear a helmet prevented him from being seriously injured when a pickup struck his bike, Lake Jackson Police Lt. Bryan Sidebottom said.

A gray Chevrolet Silverado ran into the maroon Yamaha V Star motorcycle on Highway 332 near Yaupon Street shortly after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sidebottom said.
