Motorcycle crash in Lincoln County kills in New Mexico

On Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at approximately 6:30 PM; New Mexico State Police responded to the scene of a single motorcycle crash near State Road 368, mile post 11 in Arabela NM.New Mexico State Police determined that a 2009 Honda motorcycle was traveling south bound on SR 368. For an unknown reason, the motorcycle crossed the south bound lane into the north bound lane coming out of a curb. The motorcycle went off the north bound shoulder and collided into some trees and large rocks.The driver, Donald Stevenson (49) of Arabela, NM was ejected from the motorcycle and killed.Mr. Stevenson was not wearing a helmet. Alcohol is not considered a factor in this crash.
