OAKLAND, CA : 22-year-old man killed in motorcycle crash identified on Wednesday, February 15th 2017

A 22-year-old San Lorenzo man who died after a collision Sunday night was identified by the coroner’s office Wednesday. Omar Nuno died when he was thrown from his motorcycle after it was hit by an SUV in East Oakland. He landed at the rear of a parked vehicle and died at the scene.

The crash happened around 6:59 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of 39th Avenue and International Boulevard in the Fruitvale district.

No one was hurt in the SUV and the driver remained at the scene.
