McAlester, OK : 17-year-old teen dies of injuries suffered in 2-vehicle collision on US 270 in Pittsburg County on Wednesday, November 26, 2014
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 17-year-old has died of injuries he suffered in a two-vehicle collision on U.S. 270 in Pittsburg County.
An OHP report says Joseph Schoggins of McAlester died Thursday at a Tulsa hospital where he was taken following the crash on Wednesday.
The report says Schoggins was eastbound on U.S. 270 when his vehicle crossed the centerline, then went into a broad slide and was struck by a westbound vehicle. The driver and three passengers in the second vehicle were not seriously injured.
