Fontana, CA : No serious injuries in ambulance accident in the area of Mount Holly Road and Virginia Street on Tuesday, 21st April, 2020

Three people, including a patient who was already in transport, were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries Tuesday following a two-vehicle accident that involved an ambulance with the El Dorado Fire Department.
The accident occurred just before 3 p.m. in the area of Mount Holly Road and Virginia Street.
Two ambulance crew members, a driver and a paramedic, and a patient who was already loaded in the ambulance for a non-emergency transport were sent to Medical Center of South Arkansas with complaints of back and neck pain, said Lt. Andrew Russell of the El Dorado Police Department.
“Since it was a non-emergency patient transport, they were not running lights and sirens at the time,” said Fire Chief Chad Mosby.
No serious injuries were reported.
