Ellicott City, MD : Two people injured after single-car collision in Howard County on Tuesday May 17, 2016.
Howard County police have identified the two people injured Tuesday morning after their car drove off the road and rolled over multiple times.
Police said the driver, Keith Charles Quigg, 31, of Hagerstown, is currently in stable condition at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, and the passenger, Nicole Marie Ashby, 31, also of Hagerstown, is in critical condition at Howard County General Hospital.
Howard County police are investigating the incident that happened around 9:43 a.m. on Route 100 near Executive Park Drive in Ellicott City. Police said Quigg was driving a Pontiac G5 with Ashby in the passenger's seat, heading westbound on Route 100, when his car left the roadway for unknown reasons.
Quigg and Ashby were not wearing seat belts in the car at the time of the crash, police said.
The area was closed for approximately three hours during police investigation. No other vehicles were involved.
