Two police officers and a civilian suffered minor injuries in a crash involving an NYPD vehicle in Brooklyn on Wednesday morning, authorities said.
The 70th Precinct SUV collided with a red Volvo with New Jersey plates at Bedford Ave. and Farragut Rd. in Ditmas Park around 6:45 a.m., authorities said.
The two officers and the driver of the Volvo were taken to Kings County Hospital with minor injuries, according to the FDNY.
The circumstances of the collision were not immediately available. The driver of Volvo had a suspended license, according to police sources.
The crash left the police SUV with front-end damage.
The airbags of the NYPD vehicle were activated.
