A Memphis family is devastated after losing their loved one in a tragic car crash.

29-year-old Joshua Pickler died after his car went off Sam Cooper Boulevard and overturned several times Thursday night.

His sister Jessica Pickler says relatives are still in shock.

"You never expect for your sibling to go before you. You know what I mean?," said Jessica. "You just look at each other as growing old together. You don't expect it."

The cause of the crash is still being investigated, even though other drivers told police that Pickler passed them at high speed.

The family is struggling to cover funeral expenses since Pickler did not have life insurance.
