Pittsburgh, PA : Man killed in West Oakland crash on Saturday night, November 19, 2016
Authorities have identified a man who died Saturday night in a single-vehicle crash in West Oakland.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office issued a news release this afternoon identifying the victim as Oscar A. Mazza, 23, of Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh police said Mr. Mazza lost control of his vehicle as he driving on Kirkpatrick Street at about 9:38 p.m.
The car ended up on its passenger side against the Lily Baptist Church in the 300 block of Kirkpatrick Street, police said.
Mr. Mazza was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of death was blunt force trauma to the head. He was the only occupant of the vehicle.
