Conroe, TX : Elementary school bus involved in head-on collision on Thursday, February 2, 2017

Students are safe at home after their bus was involved in a head-on crash Thursday.

The accident happened on FM 1314 and SH 242.

The bus was carrying four students from Creighton Elementary School when a van collided with the bus.

According to police, the driver of the van was following a private ambulance moments before the crash.

The woman was trapped in her car for half an hour before emergency officials were able to pull her out.

We're told the students were not injured.
