Columbus, OH : Lewis Center crash closes U.S. 23 north; children uninjured on Friday, 26th August, 2016
Two men were injured in a rollover crash that snarled traffic on U.S. Route 23 in Orange Township earlier this afternoon.
Lt. John Hodges of the Orange Township Fire Department said safety officials responded to a report of a crash about 3:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 26, near Route 23 and Orange Road. He said two SUVs traveling north on Route 23 collided, causing one to roll over near the intersection.
Emergency workers transported two men who were in the car that rolled over to area hospitals after the crash. Two children who were secured in car seats in the vehicle were uninjured.
Hodges said he could not comment on the condition of the two men.
The driver and lone occupant of the other vehicle was uninjured.
Hodges said Ohio State Highway Patrol investigators are attempting to sort out the cause of the crash.
