EAST HARTFORD, CT : 2 seriously injured in crash that ties up I-84 on Thursday, 3rd September, 2020

A man and a woman suffered serious injuries Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 westbound that involved a motorcycle and a Jeep, and tied up rush hour traffic for hours, state police said.
Another woman involved in the crash suffered minor injuries, state police said.
Just before 3 p.m., Miguel Angel Berrios, of Willimantic, was riding a motorcycle on I-84 west, just east of Exit 57 in the center travel lane, police said.
The driver of the Jeep, Stafford resident Marissa Christina Santiago, was directly behind Berrios, police said, and “for an unknown reason” struck Berrios’ vehicle from behind.
