Ogden, UT : Woman critically injured in Weber County crash on Monday afternoon, February 15, 2016

A woman was critically injured in a Weber County freeway crash.

On Monday afternoon, the woman entered Interstate 15 from Interstate 84, going north at "a high rate of speed," according to the Utah Highway Patrol. Her car then went across all of the northbound lanes and struck a concrete barrier, according to UHP.

She was thrown from the car and into a southbound lane.

She was taken to the hospital in critical condition and is expected to survive, UHP reported.
