Franklin,VI : Tractor-trailer wreck shuts down U.S. 220 south in Franklin County on January, Friday 12th 2018

A tractor-trailer crash has shut down all southbound lanes of U.S. 220 just north of Rocky Mount in Franklin County on Friday night.

The wreck happened about 7 p.m. near Shady Lane, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation. Drivers can expect delays.

A detour has been set up, with traffic being directed off U.S. 220 south onto Virginia 775, onto Virginia 919, into U.S. 220 north and back onto U.S. 220 south.
