Concord, NH : Three-car crash in Bow slows traffic returning from holiday weekend on Monday, October, 9th 2017

A three-vehicle crash left one car partially on top of another, but no one was injured in the Monday-morning incident on Interstate 89 in Bow.

New Hampshire State Police issued Abby Sbat, 54, of Hillsboro a ticket alleging she followed follow too closely and caused the chain-reaction collision shortly after 11 a.m.

Sbat was driving a 2004 Cadillac, which rear-ended a 2004 Volvo XC70 that had slowed on I-89 south at mile marker 0.6 in Bow. That collision caused the Volvo to strike a 2007 Subaru from behind.

“The impact was such that the Cadillac ended up partially under the Volvo,” police said.

No injuries were reported.

Police were assisted by firefighters from Bow and Concord. Traffic was heavy on the state’s highways Monday as motorists returned from a holiday weekend.

It wasn't immediately known if Sbat had a lawyer.
