Rehoboth, DE : One injured in crash on Route 5 in Millsboro on Friday, March 10th 2017

Emergency crews have responded to a crash reported shortly after 9 a.m. March 10 on Route 5, at the intersection of Hollyville Road, in Millsboro.

The crash occurred near the intersection, as Milford resident Michael D. Skivers, 49, was driving a 2008 Dodge Dakota southbound on Route 5 and failed to yield to the right of way of another vehicle traveling westbound, said Delaware State Police spokesman Master Cpl. Gary Fournier.

Skivers then hit the right side of a 2016 Isuzu, driven by Dover resident Phillip A. M. Seymore, 24, Fournier said.

Seymore was taken to Beebe Hospital and treated and released with nonlife-threatening injuries.

Skivers was uninjured and cited for failing to yield to the right of way.
