Clark County , NV : One Person injured and down live power lines after he hit Utility pole in Clark County on Wednesday , March 4th 2015
A driver had to be rescued from his truck after a crash brought down live power lines in Clark County.
Troopers said the man, in his 20s, lost control in the 3200 block of St. Paris Pike. He hit a utility pole around 4:45 a.m.
Icy road conditions are being blamed.
The man was stuck in his work vehicle until firefighters could help him out around 5:30 a.m., according to initial reports.
He was not taken to the hospital.
The road was closed and power was knocked out to about 100 First Energy Customers. Crews said power should be restored by 9:30 a.m.
The Ohio Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
