Sedgwick, KS : Man killed in accident on North Broadway was from Sedgwick on May 17th 2014

The Kansas Highway Patrol has identified a man who was killed Saturday night in a traffic accident on Broadway near Valley Center.

A patrol log reports that Joseph D. Crowder, 49, of Sedgwick was northbound on North Broadway when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.

The accident happened in the 9900 block of North Broadway.

Crowder was driving a 1989 Chevrolet truck.

The accident happened shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday.
