Authorities say a suspect is in custody following a fatal hit-and-run accident on an upstate New York street.
Police in the Orange County city of Middletown tell the Times Herald-Record of Middletown that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed on Railroad Avenue around 3:25 a.m. Sunday.
Officers say the driver fled the scene but was arrested on Route 211 near the town of Montgomery after a police pursuit.
No other details have been released.
