1 killed, 2 injured I-85 crash near Steve Reynolds Boulevard

One person is dead and two others have been transported to a hospital after a big rig flipped on its side on northbound I-85 in Gwinnett County near Steve Reynolds Boulevard in unincorporated Duluth.

The Gwinnett County Police Department Accident Investigation Unit is currently investigating the incident.

The accident occurred at 7:05 a.m., after a tractor trailer that collided with another vehicle flipped on its side.

There is one confirmed fatality on scene and two other people have been transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Several lanes of northbound I-85 are blocked as emergency personnel investigate and clean the scene.
