One man is dead after a truck crashed into a tree on Wyndale Road on Sunday night.

Coroner Sharon Grisham Stewart says that 49-year-old Ronnie Nelson of Terry was pronounced dead on the scene. He died of multiple blunt force injuries.

A witness at the scene says the vehicle involved in the crash was a black pick up truck. She says it appeared that the engine was in the cab of the truck.

No word yet on what exactly caused the truck to crash.
