SPOKANE, WA : Car chase results in 3-car crash, causing traffic delays on U.S. Highway 2 on Thursday, 6th June 2024

Three cars crashed on U.S. Highway 2 after Washington State Patrol (WSP) troopers pursued a suspect.

According to WSP, troopers were chasing a suspect who had stolen a car, and they disengaged from the pursuit before the crash occurred. Four people were injured as result of the crash, according to WSP. All four were transported to the hospital.

The crash took place on the northbound side of U.S. Highway 2 near Lane Park, north of Spokane. Both the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) and Spokane Area Traffic reported that northbound lanes are blocked, and traffic is being detoured.
