BAXTER, MN : 2 injured in car, bus crash on Highway 371 and Novotny Road in Baxter on Wednesday, 15th August 2018

A Lake Shore couple was injured in a two-vehicle crash reported at 9:49 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, on Highway 371 and Novotny Road in Baxter.

The Baxter Police Department reported a black Kia, driven by Janice M. Bukovich, 73, was traveling south on Highway 371 and was taking a left turn onto Novotny Road in front of an oncoming Brainerd city bus, driven by Kristen M. Nemitz, 52, Motley, when the two vehicles collided.Bukovich and her passenger John A. Bukovich, 73, Lake Shore, were transported by North Memorial Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center for non-life-threatening injuries, where they were treated and released.
