PRATT, OK : Oklahoma woman injured in Pratt County wreck on Wednesday, November, 8th 2017

An Oklahoma woman was injured Wednesday afternoon when she turned into the path of a semitractor-trailer on K-61 north of Pratt.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported Melissa M. McGill, 22, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, was southbound on Northeast 40th Avenue at about 12:55 p.m. and made a left-hand turn onto K-61.

McGill’s 2008 Pontiac G6 turned into the path of a 2016 Freightliner semitrailer driven by Brooks L. Romine, 45, of Pratt, which hit the Pontiac on its left side.

McGill was transported to Pratt Regional Medical Center. Romine was not injured. Both were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
