Tarzana woman, 44, dies in motorcycle crash on 210 Freeway

A woman passenger on a motorcycle was fatally injured today in a collision on the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway in Lake View Terrace.Valeta Larsen, 44, of Tarzana, died at a hospital shortly after the roughly 7:30 a.m. accident east of Wheatland Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol and coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter.According to the CHP, the motorcycle - operated by Mark Standard, 48, of Tarzana - changed lanes and collided with the rear of another vehicle. Standard was taken to a hospital with what the CHP called major injuries
