Quincy,L: Iowa man injured in crash near West Quincy on November, Tuesday 31st 2017

An Iowa man was injured in an early Tuesday morning crash west of West Quincy.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2016 Kenworth tractor trailer driven by Danny E. Mathews, 65, of Walker, Iowa, was eastbound on County Road 308, three miles west of West Quincy, at 4 a.m. The patrol said the vehicle traveled off the left side of the road when attempting to make a right turn in the road, then came to rest upright off the road.

Mathews, who was wearing a seat belt, was transported by Marion County Ambulance to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., with minor injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Marion County Sheriff's Department.
