Harrisburg, IL : One injured in single-vehicle accident in Saline County on Saturday, July 2, 2016

Christopher L. Fox, 33, of Raleigh, struck a culvert and rolled his vehicle during a single-vehicle accident at 9:09 p.m. Saturday along Illinois Route 34, one mile North of Mount Moriah Road, according to a news release from the Illinois State Police, District 19.

Fox was not wearing a seat belt, and was transported by ambulance to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries. His 2001 white Cadillac passenger car was towed from the scene. The cause of the accident is noted by police as improper lane usage, though reasons why are unknown.

Fox was charged with improper lane usage, failure to wear a seat belt and operating an uninsured vehicle.

ISP District 19 was assisted at the crash scene by the Saline County Sheriff's Department and the Saline County Ambulance Service.
