WICHITA, KS : 1 critically injured in crash involving motorcycle near K-42 and Ridge Road on Wednesday, 26th June 2024

The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office said street racing led to a crash in which a motorcyclist suffered critical injuries Wednesday night at K-42 and Ridge Road.

Deputies said a group of motorcyclists were riding at K-42 and Ridge a little before 10 p.m. when one of the motorcycles crashed into another car as they attempted to race. The driver of the vehicle that was hit by the motorcycle wasn’t hurt, the sheriff’s office said.
