Georgetown ,DE : 47-year-old Eduardo Giorgi killed after crash with truck on Tuesday ,May 19th 2015

Delaware State Police say a motorcyclist who was injured in a crash in Georgetown has died.

Troopers say 47-year-old Eduardo Giorgi of Salisbury, Maryland, died early Friday at Christiana Hospital, where he was taken after Tuesday's crash.

Police say 33-year-old Joseph M. Rose of Georgetown was driving a pickup truck and was trying to make a left turn, and Giorgi's motorcycle was traveling on the shoulder.

Authorities say the front bumper of the truck struck the motorcycle, throwing Giorgi off the vehicle.

The crash remains under investigation.
