Police in Baltimore County say a man is dead after he crashed his car into a stopped street sweeper in Rosedale.
Police say the crash happened just after 1:30 a.m. Sunday on Pulaski Highway near Rossville Boulevard. Police say the driver of a 2011 Jeep Patriot was traveling eastbound on Pulaski Highway when he struck the rear of a street sweeper that was stopped at a red light.
Police say after the crash the Jeep struck a support pole for a traffic signal. Police say the driver of the Jeep, 24-year-old Joseph Riley Armstead III of Baltimore, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the driver of the street sweeper was not injured.
