Pittsburgh, PA : 19-year-old woman killed in single-vehicle crash on Cameo Lane in Hempfield Township on Wednesday, March 9, 2016

A 19-year-old woman died after her car went off a road and hit multiple trees late Wednesday night in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County.

The coroner's office said Krista Bell, of Salem Township, was ejected from her vehicle when the crash happened on Cameo Lane at about 11:30 p.m.

Bell was taken to Excela Westmoreland Hospital, where she was pronounced dead shortly after 12:20 a.m. Thursday, the coroner said.

State police are investigating the cause of the crash, which happened near Route 119.
