KPD Woman dead after single-car crash on Pellissippi Pkwy near Northshore Drive on Tuesday, 2nd July 2024

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A woman was pronounced dead Tuesday morning after a single-car crash on Pellissippi Parkway, according to the Knoxville Police Department.

KPD officers responded to I-140 East near Northshore Drive where a witness reported that a car had flipped off the road. Once officers arrived on the scene, KPD said they found a car upside down and next to a tree. The driver of the car was then pronounced dead.
