Quincy, IL : Teen injured in crash at North 24th, Spring Lake Road on Wednesday morning, June 29, 2016

A teen was injured in a Wednesday morning crash at the intersection of North 24th and Spring Lake Road.

The Adams County Sheriff's Department reported that a 2004 Lincoln driven by Brianna H. Frink, 16, was traveling west on Spring Lake Road when it stopped at the stop sign at North 24th. The department said Frink pulled into the path of a 2002 Chevrolet driven by Brady A. Stoddard, 21, of Quincy, who was driving south on 24th approaching Spring Lake Road.

Frink was cited for disobeying a traffic-control device.

A passenger in the Fink vehicle, Taylor M. Frink, 15, was taken to Blessing Hospital with moderate injuries.

The department was assisted by the Adams County Ambulance Service and the Tri-Township Fire Department.
