The 27-year-old Tennessee man involved in a car crash on Ulmerton Road near Carillon Parkway three weeks ago has died, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Dustin M. Fowler lost control of a Ford pickup and crashed into a traffic signal pole about 3:30 a.m. Feb. 15, troopers said. He may have been racing another car at the time, according to investigators.
Fowler, of Dyersburg, Tenn., was taken to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg and died March 8. No further information was immediately available.
