PLAINVIEW, MN : Minor injuries in two-car crash near Plainview on Friday, March 17th 2017
Two people were injured Friday morning after a crash on Minnesota Highway 247 in Wabasha County.
According to the report from the Minnesota State Patrol, Jason Dean Folstad, 33, was northbound on Wabasha County Road 2 when his car failed to stop for the stop sign at its intersection with Minnesota 247.
The car collided with a westbound pickup driven by Tina Marie Manning, 43, of Kellogg.
She and a passenger in the car, Daniel Richard Fritz, 27, of Rochester, both sustained minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to Mayo Clinic Hospital-Saint Marys Campus. A hospital spokeswoman said Manning was not listed and Fritz was still being evaluated at 11 a.m.
Folstad, of Spring Grove, was uninjured, the report says.
Also responding to the crash, which was reported at 7:29 a.m., were members of the Wabasha County Sheriff's Office, Plainview Police Department and Plainview Ambulance.
